Our Program Manager for Landscape Design, Laura Robinson’s, passion for the environment and creating and maintaining green spaces led her to develop the Schools Need Trees project. The project was created during Laura’s time as a Climate Justice Design Fellow through Harvard’s Institute of Quantitative Social Science.
Through the experience, Laura has seen the desire in the PGCPS community to create more green spaces at their schools, along with the challenges of the lack of resources to do so. The project remains a work in progress, and Laura hopes to continue expanding the support and offerings to help increase tree canopy throughout the region.
