We are seeking 1–2 volunteer designers to support the concept development of a new retail facade for Velocipede, located within a historic district (700 N Eutaw St, Baltimore City). Ideal volunteers will bring experience in facade design, signage, and navigating historic district guidelines.
This is an opportunity to contribute creative vision to a highly visible facade project while collaborating with a passionate, volunteer-led team that helps build Baltimore’s bike community! We are seeking 2 Landscape Design volunteers to support the design of a small community gathering space in the Walbrook neighborhood of Baltimore City. The space is on a series of sloped vacant lots in partnership with The 6th Branch. This project focuses on creating an inviting, flexible gathering space and safe play area that aligns with Adopt-A-Lot guidelines and responds to neighborhood needs.

We are seeking one Landscape Design volunteer to support the development of visual renderings for a proposed neighborhood fitness trail in partnership with the Charles Village Community Benefits District.
This role involves research, designing a draft trail map, and creating visualizations that help communicate the idea, to prepare for a most robust engagement and fundraising phase later on. Designers interested in physical exercise and recreational design are encouraged! Ideal candidates have experience with trail design and strong rendering skills. We are seeking 1 Landscape Designer volunteer to revitalize a vacant lot located behind affordable housing development, Metro Heights at Mondawmin, in Liberty Heights, Baltimore City, with the shared goal of improving safety, environmental conditions, and long-term community use. Timeline: August - November
NDC volunteers will provide guidance on site analysis, early design visioning, and community-informed strategies to transform the space into a safe, functional, and neighborhood-serving outdoor green space. We are seeking 2 volunteers (Landscape Architect + Architect) to lead a phased concept design for a green space owned and managed by the Forest Park Neighborhood Association in the Forest Park neighborhood, Baltimore City. The timeline is July - September.
The design process will include resident engagement and aims to visualize the transformation of an open lot into an “oasis” for the neighborhood, with a design that includes areas for local vendors, movie nights, and a stage or mini theater for outdoor performances. We are seeking 1 Experiential / Environmental Design volunteer to consult with a team of designers on the location, placement, scale, install, and permit needs for a series of outdoor cultural heritage signs currently in the design phase. Technical Assistance and Consultation Services would run Spring - Summer 2026. Signage is in Station North Arts District, Baltimore City.
