Use your design skills and support community-led change.
Are you a graphic designer with experience in environmental design and wayfinding? An organization in the Baltimore neighborhood of Old Goucher is opening a greenhouse in the courtyard of the historic Hooper House. In addition to producing and selling plants and produce on site, the Greenhouse aims to support environmental education and urban sustainability by providing weekly classes and workshops. As a new organization in the neighborhood, and one of many businesses housed in the Hooper House, they are in need of a wayfinding and signage plan.
This project begins in November 2024, and we are seeking environmental graphic designers and/or architects with experience designing wayfinding plans and creative commercial signage. Please email Julia DiMauro at jdimauro@ndc-md.org with questions or to express your interest in the project.
Thanks for your interest in volunteering with NDC. We are currently scoping projects and getting them ready for volunteers. If you are new to volunteering with NDC, please reach out to Angelica Arias, aarias@ndc-md.org, to schedule a chat.
We look forward to working with you!
