Parks mean a lot to us—so much that a few of us have gotten married at our favorite ones! To celebrate #NationalParkWeek, we are sharing some of those special moments, even if our favorites aren’t all National Parks.
We believe that everyone should have access to quality parks in their neighborhoods. We want to create an equitable environment where all community members can have a say in the design and development of their shared spaces, such as schools, parks, and other public areas.
In areas where green spaces are not easily accessible, we advocate for transforming vacant lots into pocket parks, which can create beautiful community gathering places. 🌳 This provides access to green space and empowers residents to design their own environment and be an important part of building community for themselves and future generations.
