Tivoly Triangle Redevelopment Plan

With many properties vacant, the City sought a redevelopment plan for Tivoly Triangle in northeast Baltimore that would reinforce the community assets already in place. Working with Healthy Neighborhoods and the Coldstream Homestead Montebello Community Corporation, NDC facilitated a community visioning workshop to learn resident’s preferences for housing and street types.

The NDC team and their partners created a concept plan for neighborhood redevelopment that accommodated 50 new homes and generated a new housing market in tune with surrounding neighborhoods
Participation by community members resulted in a plan that is sensitive to gentrification concerns and respects neighborhood character
Conversion of local streets to greenways redirected through traffic for safer, complete streets

The Future
