The 2024 Annual Awards Nominations Are Now Open!

Help us honor the bright stars that lead visionary work. Nominate a superstar volunteer or community partner (or even yourself) between August 1 and September 1 at midnight.

Larry Reich Award (Baltimore Lifetime Achievement)

Given annually to an individual whose volunteer and professional work exemplifies a special commitment to community-based planning and design. Includes a $1,000 award.

Prince George’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Given annually to an individual whose volunteer and professional work exemplifies a special commitment to community-based planning and design.

Baltimore Community Advocate of the Year Award

Recognizes a community partner, individual or organization, who has demonstrated advocacy, vision, leadership, and inclusiveness through participation in NDC efforts in Baltimore in the last year.

Kelly Oklesson Community Advocate of the Year Award (Prince George’s County)

Recognizes a community partner individual or organization who has demonstrated advocacy, vision, leadership, and inclusiveness through participation in NDC efforts in Prince George’s County in the last year.

Volunteer of the Year Award (Baltimore or Prince George’s County)

Awarded annually to volunteers from both Baltimore City and Prince George’s County, who have gone above and beyond the NDC mission through their contributions of time, effort, and attitude towards NDC projects in the previous calendar year.

NDC Hall of Fame Award

In the NDC Hall of Fame are volunteers and partner organizations who have worked on 10 or more projects, or have served at least 20 hours a year for 10 consecutive years. Volunteers include anyone who commits unpaid time to NDC, such as design volunteers, community partners, and board members.

Deadline: September 1, 2024 at midnight.

We will notify awardees of their selection by September 18, and the awards reception will be held Thursday, October 17.
